Heroes: Origins spinoff held off

For those viewers out there who were salivating over the thought of a Heroes spinoff to get more of a fix of that show, prepare for some disappointment. In anticipation of the expected Writer's Guild of America (WGA) strike, NBC is delaying production of Heroes: Origins, as they're unsure of what's going to happen. This could be the main reason the spinoff is on hiatus, or it could, you know, have something to do with the fact that the main show is in a severe sophomore slump (but is slowly getting better). The spinoff isn't completely dead, rather, just taking a breather. Place your bets on whatever reason you can think of for it not going to production, but don't place a bet on when you'll actually see it on TV. Heroes spinoff delayed
