Watchmen cast in costume
Zak Snyder has gone and done it now.
On his blog chronicling the production of Watchmen, Snyder has posted 5 photos of the actors IN COSTUME. Included are pics of The Comedian, Nite-Owl, Rohrschach, Ozymandias and Silk Specter. I have to say, I'm a little concerned.
If you look at the costumes, they are very reminiscent of a certain Batman movie that nobody wants to talk about, Batman and Robin. In that, the costumes were a little too ultra-modern. Granted that wasn't the only problem with that movie, as there were tons of others, but it didn't help. I can't say that the costumes will bring Watchmen down either, but my concern has inched up slightly.
But its Snyder, and he did a phenomenal job of adapting 300, so what do I know.
