Spider-man 2 proposed script

You know, you have to wonder what would've been with some movies. May times, multiple scripts are submitted for a movie, and either one of them is selected wholesale, or the movie becomes something of a mash up of them. Michael Chabon was the third of four to submit a script for Spider-man 2, and while his script wasn't used, you can use it to act out your own version of the sequel. McSweeney's Internet Tendency has the entire (and I do mean entire) script written by Chabon for Spider-man 2. The intro for the script reads thusly: "In honor of Maps and Legends, Michael Chabon's first book of nonfiction, which features a pretty amazing three-tiered die-cut jacket by Jordan Crane, and is available now, here—in honor of all that, we present the following Maps and Legends bonus material: Chabon's screenplay for Spider-Man 2. Chabon was the third of four screenwriters assigned to the project; he ultimately received shared 'screen story' credit. As far as we know, this script hasn't been seen anywhere else, and it won't be seen here for long." So head on over, scroll down a bit, and read the script (there's also a pdf version of the script on the site). I'm not sure how long it will be up there for, so get it while the getting's good.
