Preview: What if...this was the Fantastic Four: A Tribute to Mike Wieringo #1
You may not remember, but comics lost a great contributor in Mike Wieringo last August. Prior to his untimely passing, he completed seven pages of a "What if" story that featured Spider-man, The Hulk, Ghost Rider and Wolverine as the Fantastic Four. Marvel donated the script and art to The Heroe's Initiative, where Mike's friends finished up the story for him.
The 48-page book features a full story and additional written tributes to Mike from Arthur Adams, Paul Renaud, Stuart Immonen, Cully Hammer, Alan Davis, David WIlliams, Sanford Greene, Humberto Ramos, Skottie Young, Mike Allred and Barry Kitson. According to Wizard Universe, the comic will debut at HeroesCon in Charlotte, NC, on June 20, and then hits comic stores everywhere June 25 for $4.99.
