Emerald City Comic-Con
Seattle is way the f out there (for me here in Boston it is at least). But that doesn't mean it shouldn't get its share of comic book conventions, and its most famous is hitting the Emerald City this weekend (April 4 and 5) in the form of Emerald City Comic-Con.
Some of the highlights as far as guests go include Brian Michael Bendis, Ed Brubaker, Frank Cho, Matt Fraction and Erik Larsen, just to name a few. There's also a costume contest, gaming presence on the floor and panels galore.
The event takes place at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center in Seattle, WA. A two-day pass is $25 in advance ($30 at the door), while single day passes are $15 each day in advance (Saturday is $20 at the door). Children under 7 are admitted for free, so if you have kids bring them along.
