You know it's kind of amusing what a rock star President Obama has become. He hasn't solved every problem in the world (yet at least) that he campaigned on, but morale is generally high and he's done a lot in his first 100 days in office. But dammit if he didn't get a chance to save America from an alien invasion. Thankfully, Devil's Due Publishing describes how this scenario would play out if it were to actually happen. I'm going to go out on a limb and say Obama wins, but please read on.
Drafted: One Hundred Days hits stores next month, and it features the first wave an alien invasion. America fought hard, but the country is a little worse for wear as a result. On top of that, it's also the coldest winter in a century (notice the 100 theme there), and it falls on the former US Senator to rally a small construction unit in the remains of Chicao and fight back. Because this man -Barack Hussein Obama- has had his destiny changed forever.
I'm honestly not sure how Obama will win the battle for Earth with a shovel, but what do I know. You've got to hand it to Devil's Due, they definitely know that Obama is "in" right now, and are doing their best to capitalize on that surge of popularity. I wrote about this book and another a few weeks ago, but at least now you know that this one will set you back $5.99.
