Sin Titulo by Cameron Stewart
Cameron Stewart is a fantastic illustrator. The Eisner-award nominated illustrator is best known for his work on Catwoman alongside Ed Brubaker. Brubaker not enough for you? How about Seven Soldiers: The Manhattan Guardian with Grant Morrison or The Other Side with Jason Aaron. Still not convinced that he's awesome?
How about work on Superman, Spider-Man, Hellboy, BPRD, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Transmetropolitan, The Invisibles, Hellblazer, The Vinyl Underground, Deadenders, Human Target? I think you get my point. He's a great illustrator that has made a name for himself in the comic book industry. In all those instances he merely illustrated while someone else took the writing credit. Until now.
Sin Titulo is Cameron’s first project as both writer and illustrator. The semi-autobiographical mystery thriller is a neo-noir look at dreams, family and memories. Why haven't you seen the book in your local comic book shop? Well it's online only. But in a stunning turn of awesomeness it's free as part of the TX Comics collective.
The series is at page 80 so if you're choosing now as the time to jump in you've got a lot of catching up to do. It's definitely worth it however, as the pages aren't too intensive and generally are quickly readable. Check it out and admire Stewart's first foray into the writing side of things.
