Solomon Kane is one of those characters that doesn't really get a fair shake but is a badass in his own right. Folks that attending San Diego Comic Con got a special glimpse at a trailer for upcoming movie that could be seeing the light of day (if enough people get behind it that is). In the meantime, you'll have to make do with a comic from Dark Horse called
Solomon Kane: Death’s Black Riders #1.
Written by Scott Allie and featuring art by Mario Guevara and Juan Ferreyra (cover by Darick Robertson), Solomon Kane: Death’s Black Riders #1 is a semi-followup to the events in Solomon Kane: The Castle of the Devil. Kane comes across gypsies being terrorized by roving bandits (is anything that's roving actually good?) and thinks they're bad until he encounters that the forest itself may be worse. The book uses Robert E. Howards "Death Black Riders" and "Rattle of Bones" short stories as inspiration for the comic.
