Tagged as "Chicago's Pop Culture Event," C2E2 is riding a whirlwind of publicity into this weekend. The show kicks off tomorrow at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, and fans should know that they're in for a lot of action this weekend. What's the big deal, and why do you care?

For starters, the guest list is pretty jam packed with awesomeness. Talent planned to be at the show include Alex Ross, Garth Ennis, Neil Gaiman, Geoff Johns, Jim Lee, Andy Kubert, Jeph Loeb, Mike Mignola, Gail Simone and Ben Templesmith, just to name a few. Panels include publishers such as Marvel, DC, Zenescope, Dark Horse, Boom! Studios and others. There's even a Kevin Conroy spotlight panel!

The show is open to the public tomorrow from 1 PM - 7 PM, Saturday from 10 AM - 7 PM and Sunday 10 AM - 5 PM. You can still get weekend passes for $50 and single day tickets for $25 each if you're planning to hit up the show at least one of the days. This is the first year for the show, so it should be interesting to see how it goes.
