Preview - Electric Ant #1
When Philip K. Dick created all of his fantastic science fiction stories about robots and humans uniting, I doubt he ever imagined they would be adapted into comics. The latest is Electric Ant #1, written by David Mack.
The art by Pascale Alixe (and a Paul Pope cover) tell the story of Garson Poole. Poole had a pretty good life, until he wakes up in a hospital room unable to be treated because of his being a robot and all. He's an Electric Ant, a human-like robot created and programmed to serve a specific function. Reading the series is the only way to learn about his function and how his friends take to having an Electric Ant as a friend.
The book will hit stores this week, and you can check out some interiors after the jump.
