In-Store Signing With Rest
Now that Milo Ventimiglia has a lot more time on his hands ever since Heroes was canceled. (Sidenote: Can you think of any show that had as much promise as Heroes did that completely fell apart? That first season was pretty awesome, but then it's like Jeph Loeb and co. decided to just go off the reservation with the subsequent three seasons.). Part of that time is being devoted to comic books and while he's not working on Berserker he's working on a new book called Rest. New books mean in-store signings, such as Borders in Southern California on Wednesday, October 27 at 7pm.
Rest tells the story of John Barrett, a man in his late 20’s, whose life is going nowhere. He is stuck in a dead-end job with no friends and no future. When his best friend from college mysteriously resurfaces with news of a new wonder drug that replaces sleep, John falls into a conspiracy that threatens to change the course of human history. The book is written by Mark Powers and features art by Shawn McManus and Marco Castiello.
Since southern California is an awful big place, a more specific location would probably be appreciated. The Borders in question is located at 3700 Torrance Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503. There is no charge for the signing and Borders will have copies of both Rest and Berserker softcovers on hand for sale during the event.
Full press release after the jump.
