Me personally? I'm particularly intrigued by The Secret History Book Sixteen by Jean-Pierre Pécau and illustrated by Igor Kordey (colors by Leonard O’Grady and cover by Manchu and Olivier Vatine). It's set against the backdrop of 1946 Zion where the UN votes to create Israel, which of course leads to the present dispute between the country and its neighbor, Palestine. Curtis Hawk crashes his old Messerschmitt in nearby Jordan and finds a group seeking to archaeological site of Qumran.
