Golden Age super hero returns in five issue mini series from Red 5
PHILADELPHIA, PA - The fourth issue of Moon Girl, South Fellini's beautifully painted five-part re-imagining of the Golden Age character from EC Comics, is due to hit shelves across North America this Wednesday, Sept. 14.
Drawn into the open in an attempt to stop Sugar Plum, Moon Girl walked into a trap. She was drugged by her followers and subjected to a form of psychological therapy inducing flashbacks to memories designed to break the princess so she can be rebuilt. With the final phase of her plan at hand, Satana escapes from the hospital -- ready to follow a reborn Moon Girl as a warrior queen with designs to destroy all of mankind.
As the series winds to a close, will Moon Girl be able to stop the wave of violence that washes over New York City, or will she be forced to watch helplessly as Manhattan burns?
Since Moon Girl #1 came out on May 4, it has been selling out in comic shops across North America and receiving excellent reviews.
"... the writing speeds through the story at a breakneck pace. The book is a whirlwind of spectacularness and easily has to be the best book Red 5 has ever put out. The art alone just blows away anything anyone else is doing right now." - Ain't it Cool News
