Pulp Trailer
Sure, there are tons of films out there based on comics. But few actually address what goes into making those comics. It's a rough and tumble world to make it and that's exactly the world that Dare Pictures is looking for with their upcoming indie comedy Pulp.
Pulp is the story of everyman Tony Leary and his struggle to make a success of his life. Fighting against impending financial ruin as he tries to pursue his dream, Tony’s quest for success echoes the daily struggle of millions of people around the world.
Co-director and producer, Adam Hamdy, had the idea for Pulp in July 2010 while at Comic-Con San Diego. It's the culmination of years of treks to cons, with the first two days of production filmed on location at the British International Comic Show. The remaining thirty-three days of production were shot on location in and around Birmingham, Stoke-On-Trent, and Altrincham.
Check out the trailer after the jump (there's some salty language within). The film is set to be released in the near future.
