Arcana Comics Teams Up With Simmons Comics Group for Simmons Comics Anthology Vol. 1

Gene Simmons knows a thing or two about making a big splash in any medium. For years it was music, until his reality show hit. Somewhere in between, he managed to find time to make a comic book as well, an anthology of which is being collected by Arcana Comics called the Simmons Comics Anthology Vol 1, due in stores in February.

Simmons Comics Anthology Volume 1 features the first chapter of Zipper, Dominatrix and Gene Simmons House of Horrors, PLUS the first chapter of the all new crossover event, Zipper Versus Dominatrix: The Slave Trade, written by Erik Hendrix and with art from Yannis Roumboulias.

"We intend on using the finest artists and writers in the comic book medium," said Simmons. "This is just the beginning... As a lifelong fan boy, I've been madly in love with the medium ever since I was in my early teens and have continued to ravenously devour comics through the decades. Along the way, I created our three comics - Zipper, Dominatrix and Gene Simmons House of Horrors."

Simmons Comics Anthology will be released quarterly through 2013 with Volume 2 coming in May 2013, Volume 3 in August 2013, and Volume 4 in November 2014.
