Valiant Brings Their Heroes to ComicsFix

Comixology may be the really big digital comics book retailer in the marketplace, but there are others vying for the crown as well. One of them is ComicsFix, a subscription-based digital comics service available on iPad, iPhone, Android devices and online. And ComicsFix is proud to announce a new partnership with Valiant Entertainment to bring select Valiant titles to ComicsFix’s digital comics library. Effective now, comic book fans can join ComicsFix’s monthly subscription plan for access to select series including X-O Manowar, Archer & Armstrong, Harbinger and more of Valiant’s critically acclaimed superhero titles. In addition to these best-selling titles, new additions from Valiant’s critically acclaimed library of comic books and graphic novels will be added to ComicsFix monthly. Old and new readers alike can look forward to a near-constant influx of top-notch content from Valiant on ComicsFix’s innovative digital reading platform.

“We are so proud of this partnership," said Felix Kiner, founder and CEO of ComicsFix. “Valiant is one of the most beloved publishers in the history of comics with good reason. Now, ComicsFix members have access to the characters and origins that made the Valiant Universe great. Our members will be thrilled to learn of these brilliant additions.”

The first wave of Valiant titles on ComicsFix is available now, featuring the origins and initial adventures of Valiant's most popular series – including X-O Manowar Vol. 1: By the Sword by Robert Venditti and Cary Nord; X-O Manowar Vol. 2: Enter Ninjak by Venditti and artist Lee Garbett; Harbinger Vol. 1: Omega Rising by Joshua Dysart and artist Khari Evans; Bloodshot Vol. 1: Setting the World on Fire by writer Duane Swierczynski and artists Manuel Garcia and Arturo Lozzi; Archer & Armstrong Vol. 1: The Michelangelo Code by Fred Van Lente and Clayton Henry and Shadowman Vol. 1: Birth Rites by Justin Jordan and artist Patrick Zircher.

“Valiant is committed to finding new readers through as many outlets as possible, and, through our new partnership with ComicsFix, we are proud to add another innovative and affordable channel to our list of trusted digital partners,” said Valiant CFO & Head of Strategic Development Gavin Cuneo. “ComicsFix is an exciting new option in the marketplace, and we look forward to fans new and old enjoying Valiant titles in a whole new way.”
