Valiant Celebrates 25th Anniversary on Free Comic Book Day

Valiant's got big plans for its 25th anniversary. Aside from all the conventions the publisher is making its presence known at and signing multi-picture deals with companies like Sony, there's still lots to do to celebrate. One of those things is Free Comic Book Day and Valiant's offering will give readers a look at new stories written by Jeff Lemire, Robert Venditti, Matt Kindt, Butch Guice, Diego Bernard, Clay Mann and Rafa Sandoval. Bloodshot, X-O Manowar and the rest of Valiant's fearless heroes are taking center stage for a star-studded, jam-packed anniversary smash celebrating 25 years of Valiant comics.

Lemire teams up with Guice to chronicle the fallout of The Valiant as Bloodshot rises from the ashes. Venditti and Sandoval partner up to throw down the gauntlet in introducing readers to X-O Manowar and a new tale of Dead Hand. Plus Ninjak, Imperium, Divinity, Ivar, Timewalker, Rai, special guests from throughout Valiant's decades-long history and a cavalacade of special surprises.
